On the day of your marriage, you and your husband promised to love each other for better or worse, until death do you part. Now, why are you considering an annulment or a divorce? What went wrong? A relationship break up can be prevented, though, once you learn and apply relationship saving tips. Yes, you and your partner can still save your marriage once you follow these tips:

Tip #1: Always find time to spend with each other.

One tip on saving a relationship is for you and your loved one to schedule quality time for each other. No matter how busy both of you are, you still should make time. You can make time talking and sharing your feelings for each other. It is recommended that you both turn off your mobile phones and pagers, and, just simply be with each other. Listening and sharing your experiences, problems, feelings etc, are great tools that can prevent a relationship break up.

Tip #2: Remind each other that you really are in love, even through little ways.

Giving your spouse little reminders of your love is a good way to save your marriage. Sending love e-cards takes just a few minutes and will surely tell your husband that you”re still in love with him. Scribbling ”I Love You” on a post it and sticking it on his lunch carrier, or sending him a sweet SMS on his mobile phone, are some of the relevant relationship saving tips you can employ.

Tip #3: Go on a date with your spouse from time to time.

Dating even after you”re married is an important part of saving a relationship. A lot of married couples may stop going on dates or dressing up for their partners just because they”ve become too comfortable. If you really want to save your marriage, it is highly advisable for you and your partner to schedule dates e.g. once or twice a week, every weekend, etc, and do the things you love doing together when you we”re still in the dating stage e.g. watch movies, go out of town, have a romantic dinner, and so on.

Tip #4: Take care of yourselves together.

One of the relationship saving tips most couples forget is to take care of themselves. How can you care for yourselves together? Well, you both can go to the gym, go to a spa together to have your bodies pampered, cook healthy meals together, and so on. By spending relaxing moments and doing activities that will make you both healthier, you”re actually saving a relationship and thwarting a relationship break up.

Tip #5: Prove to your husband that he is your top priority aside from your kids.

Another important advice for people who want to prevent a break-up is for them to let their partners feel that work and other things are not their main priorities - their partners are their top priorities. True, your career, household chores, etc, may take up a lot of your time, but, you still should be able to let your husband feel that he is your #1 priority. It’’s as simple as taking a moment of your time in each day to let your spouse know that no matter what happens, he is a top priority.

By following the tips mentioned above, you”ll find it easier to save your marriage.
