Cheating or infidelity is one of the most distressing concerns for women even before it actually happens. And if it’’s already there, it becomes even more devastating. What’’s even alarming is that the rate of cheating men is rising.

You might now be thinking what really are the reasons why men cheat. To be really honest, there is a long list of reasons why men cheat. Some reasons can involve you, your relationship with him, or lack of it. But sometimes, it does not really involve you at all.

When you ask men themselves, they would blame it to their genes. Yes, it could be. Because men are believed to be polygamous by nature, they just want to prove it right. For some men, they just find it exciting and challenging to be with other women even if they are in a committed relationship. They enjoy the thrill of the chase and see how long they can get away with it. It doesn”t really matter if they already have a beautiful and sexy wife or girlfriend, they just want to try something new to boost their ego and feel desired by others.

However, some men also cheat because of the simple reason that they are no longer satisfied with their partner. It could be because she is not as good looking and fit as she was before or she had lost interest in him because of the demanding responsibilities of a wife and a working mother. If a woman becomes busy with her new role as a mother, she tends to forget that her man has still the same sexual needs as he does even before they get married.

Other reasons why men cheat are a nagging wife or girlfriend, falling out of love, or getting revenge at their cheating partner. Men tend to get away with an argumentative partner by seeking the comfort of a more understanding woman. Sometimes, they just simply fall out of love. If a man becomes so comfortable with his relationship and don”t know how to end it, they resort to cheating to give their partner a reason to end the relationship. As for the reason of revenge, a man cheats if he discovers that his wife or girlfriend is also cheating on him.

Another reason for a man’’s infidelity is because he already cheated before and you have forgiven him. If this has happened in the past, he is more likely to cheat again.

Cheating has also become an alternative solution for a troubled relationship. Some men consider cheating as a quick escape from their problems without thinking that it is just an added burden.

Boredom and long distance relationships can also be added to the list of reasons why men cheat. Yes, even men in monogamous relationships can cheat especially those that are far from their partners in terms of distance.

Indeed, all these reasons why men cheat are just motivators for infidelity and cheating, but should not be considered as excuses for you to cheat on your partner. Remember that cheating in any way will never do any good in your relationship.
