For Quaint Wedding Venues Essex Is Inspirational

If you are looking for summer wedding venues, Essex offers some fabulous celebrity inspiration and not just in the form of big brother contestants and top models. Essex has long since had a reputation for being home to scantily clad and beautiful women, many of which are said to sport a St. Tropez tan, gleaming white teeth and bottle blonde hair. This stereotypical image however is fading fast as wedding venues take on quaint countryside styles this season.

The Essex Suffolk border is famed for once being home to the great painter John Constable who is best known for depicting the countryside of the area in delicate hues. This is the image that many people associate with countryside wedding venues in Essex, not the cliched images of celebrity weddings.

It is true that a few blonde haired, blue eyed and over tanned ladies wed in Essex, but their weddings reflected the tranquil surroundings captured by Constable. To capture this atmosphere for your own ceremony, why not indulge in a little bit of old English tradition which can easily be incorporated into the celebrations.

Consider arriving in a horse and carriage, this not only looks fabulous for photos, it also adds an element of understated style. Most wedding venues can contact someone on your behalf through their dedicated events coordinator. Make sure that you research the options available from cart colour to type of horse and whether or not the carriage can be decorated.

Many wedding venues prefer that guests do not throw confetti as the colourings stain walkways and the paper often leaves a pulpy mess. To get around this, ask if it is possible to throw petals instead. Not only do they blend in harmlessly with the environment, they are a quaint touch to the celebrations. Alternatively, a popular option at present is blowing bubbles. These can be bought in miniature champagne style bottles and given to guests as they arrive at the wedding venue.

The Essex countryside is the perfect setting for an outdoor reception in a marquee. Many wedding venues have facilities for outdoor disco facilities, but for a more traditional feeling, why not hire a band. The marquee setting is perfect for a quartet to play through a banquet dinner for a real taste of times gone by. Traditional weddings are definitely making a comeback, and wedding venues in Essex are a perfect and popular backdrop for such a revival.
