Beach Weddings: Three Major Obstacles Part II

Let’s continue with the remaining two topics on beach weddings.

You cannot leave out the convenience of your guests. If you have guests on wheelchairs, you have to make sure that the beach provides easy access for the wheelchairs. Basic amenities such as bathrooms should be in place. Before the wedding begins, assign a person to check if they are available throughout the wedding. It would be an awkward situation when your guests cannot use the bathroom when nature calls.

For beach wedding, the kind of bathroom can be tricky. In some beaches, the bathrooms come in the form of the outhouses. I don’t think any bridesmaid would want to use it especially with her attire. You also need prepare yourself for uninvited guests. Holding a wedding on a public beach will not guarantee any privacy. Do you mind if there are people who sunbathe at the beach or swim nakedly? If you do, then you may need to consider a private beach.

Finally, you would love to have some areas of the beach wedding to be unique such as attire, music, and food. You can choose to wear casual attire; a simple white wedding dress for the bride and a light colored suit for the groom. Alternatively, you can opt for sundresses for the bride and Hawaiian shirts for the bridegroom. These outfits are popular attire for beach wedding parties. Music can be unique also with steel drums, local musicians, or a ukulele. For food, you can feature “beach” food. Seafood and fruits is favorite menu for beach weddings.

So there you are. If you plan to hold beach weddings, consider these three areas.
